Each smoke, carbon monoxide and heat alarm is manufactured to the relevant global and regional standards such as BS, EN & UL. Showcasing some of the most advanced features around, BRK products are user friendly and easy to install.

As an industry leader BRK focuses on continuous improvement - by developing new products & upgrading existing ranges, customers and contractor participation is always taken seriously. We see it as our responsibility to ensure each product is designed and manufactured to offer superior performance, quality, installer benefits and to be cost effective.

BRK are market leaders in back-up technology, offering three types of back-up system across its 230V alarm ranges and satisfying the needs of the most demanding specification project or budget.

9V alkaline battery back-up
Designed for use where back-up technology is required and budget is a limiting factor, 9V battery back-up is a very effective system with an emphasis on the user to maintain its back-up potential by changing the battery when its power has depleted.

Rechargeable Capacitor back-up
Rechargeable capacitor back-up power cells ensure back-up power for a minimum of 72 hours and an environmentally friendly solution. A tamper-proof system ensures the battery cannot ever be removed.

Rechargeable lithium battery back-up
A reliable, highly specified back-up system incorporates the latest lithium battery-powered technology. Its built-in tamper-proof cells are proven to have a minimum life of 10 years and reliable battery back-up can be assured for at least six months when the alarm is without mains power.

BRK smoke alarms are suitable for D, E & F systems and conform to the Building Regulations 2006 and BS 5839 Pt. 6 2004. All the 230V alarms can be interconnected or used in conjunction with the wireless 'Radio Base' system.
