BRK is the world's largest manufacturer of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms. Since 1967, when BRK invented the first domestic smoke alarm, we have been the market leader at the forefront of innovation and developments within the Home Safety sector.
Dicon was acquired by BRK in late 2006 leading to BRK and Dicon having the widest range of battery and mains alarms in Europe. The Union has created an entity far greater than the sum of its parts. Our product quality is undisputed, market knowledge and experience is deep and our customer-focused attitude ensures that we continue to give market leading products and service.
All products are manufactured to ISO 9001, therefore each smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and heat alarm are manufactured to the highest standards and are certified to the relevant global or regional standards, such as BS, EN and UL. Theses high standards have set the company apart from the competition for over 40 years. To date over 300 million alarms have been produced and are protecting homes worldwide.
